Starbucks fans love off-menu custom concoctions using an array of flavor and color combinations that soar to viral acclaim. So for the first time, the Seattle-based coffee chain has created a list of the most buzzed about beverages of the year that broke the internet.
In an exclusive announcement with "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, Starbucks debuted its most viral drinks of 2025.
"Our customers and partners co-create the Starbucks Experience, and the creativity we see in viral drinks on social media is a real-time conversation with them. Their enthusiasm inspires us to set trends and shape what’s next, ensuring our menu reflects innovation and the evolving tastes of our community," SVP of global product experience Dana Pellicano told "GMA."
While some of the flavors are unavailable due to seasonal ingredients, Starbucks has included the right way to order some of the popular custom drinks via the app.
From Dubai chocolate-inspired matcha to a cotton candy-inspired Frappuccino, here's a look at the nine most viral customized drinks shared on social media platforms and the Starbucks secret menu from customer and employees this year.
1. Dubai Chocolate-inspired Matcha Latte
The winter menu item, inspired by the popular pistachio cream-stuffed chocolate bars, was the buzziest beverage of 2025.
As such, Starbucks will add two official Dubai chocolate beverages to its winter menu starting Jan. 6, 2026: Iced Dubai Chocolate-inspired Matcha and Iced Dubai Chocolate-inspired Mocha.

Grande Iced Matcha Latte with 2 pumps pistachio sauce, and chocolate cream cold foam.
2. Strawberry Matcha
This vibrant fusion of green matcha and strawberry trended on social platforms over the summer, but can be enjoyed all year long by adding strawberry puree, heavy cream, vanilla bean powder and matcha cream cold foam.
How to order: A venti Pink Drink plus strawberry puree, heavy cream, 3 scoops strawberry inclusion, 3 scoops vanilla bean powder and matcha cream cold foam.
3. Pink Drink with Pearls
The summertime Pink Drink got a playful pop of texture with the addition of raspberry pearls -- borrowed from the Summer-Berry Refreshers -- and smooth vanilla sweet cream cold foam.
How to order: A venti Pink Drink but remove the strawberry inclusions, and add vanilla sweet cream cold foam and raspberry pearls.
4. Cotton Candy-inspired Frappuccino
When Starbucks brought back the longtime favorite raspberry for a limited time in July, it inspired a nostalgic new seasonal drink that customers realized tasted just like cotton candy.
How to order: A venti Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino with 3 pumps raspberry syrup and whipped cream.
5. Chocolate Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso
The year-round favorite Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso got an indulgent upgrade with white chocolate mocha sauce and vanilla sweet cream cold foam and caramel drizzle.

6. Delta-Inspired Cookie Drink
This holiday season drink, inspired by the beloved Delta Air Lines in-flight cookies, has a warm, spicy sweetness that makes it a comforting companion to any holiday adventure.
How to order: An Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, line the cup with caramel, 1 pump chai and extra cinnamon powder.
7. Pumpkin Spice + Matcha
The fall- and holiday-timed ingredients gave matcha lovers a new way to enjoy PSL season, pairing the earthy matcha notes with classic baking spice warmth.
How to order: A grande Iced Matcha Latte with oatmilk, but remove the classic syrup, and add 2 pumps brown sugar syrup, 1 pump pumpkin sauce, pumpkin cream cold foam and pumpkin spice topping.
8. Gummy Shark Drink
This summer sipper was a fan favorite created to taste like a gummy shark candy.
How to order: Grande Summer Skies Drink with vanilla sweet cream cold foam, and remove the raspberry pearls.
9. Sugar Cookie Iced Matcha
The viral sugar cookie iced matcha unwrapped a new holiday flavor adding a creamy sweet taste of sugar cookie to the classic matcha.
