Arby's has introduced a new bite-sized protein with its first-ever Steak Nuggets.

Starting Monday, the fast food chain, whose slogan is "We Have the Meats," added the straightforward steak option to its menus nationwide.

Arby's describes the new Steak Nuggets as "tender, juicy, hand-cut, bite-sized morsels of steak -- seasoned with garlic and pepper for a bold, smoky flavor."

The new nuggets are available to order a la carte, as a sandwich, or as a bowl, according to Arby's online menu.

The entree version of the Steak Nuggets comes in both 5-piece or 9-piece sizes with a side of barbecue sauce, or as a meal with fries and a drink.

In sandwich form, the steak nuggets are prepared on a toasted bun with Havarti cheese, crispy onions, tangy pickles and Arby's signature Horsey Sauce.

The Steak Nugget Bowl, according to the menu description, is made with "juicy smoked steak nuggets served on top of creamy white cheddar mac and cheese with a sprinkling of crispy onions."

"We did a small local test for Steak Nuggets in May, and our guests went absolutely crazy so we knew we needed to bring them to a national audience," an Arby's spokesperson told ABC News.

"Right out the gate, we've seen content of guests already ordering in our drive-thrus to get a first taste of Steak Nuggets."
