In its first live performance, the chart-topping Disney song “We Don’t Talk about Bruno” was performed with color at the 94th Academy Awards.
The cast members of “Encanto” were joined on stage by Megan Thee Stallion, Luis Fonsi and Becky G to celebrate the fun, colorful and diverse meaning behind the beloved animated movie.

The viral hit, which topped the Billboard 100 charts in February, was only the second song from a Disney movie to reach No. 1 on the charts. The song was also the first No. 1 hit for Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the soundtrack for “Encanto.”

Earlier in the night, “Encanto” took home the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.
“I’m so proud to be part of a film that puts diverse characters front and center,” “Encanto” producer Yvett Merino said.
