When did Beyoncé drop "Cowboy Carter"?
Beyoncé released her "Cowboy Carter" album on March 29.
The 27-track project took home album of the year at the Grammys, a rare award that had eluded Beyoncé prior to this year.
"I think people are going to be surprised because I don't think this music is what everyone expects," she said when the album was released. "But it's the best music I've ever made."
