South Korean K-pop supergroup BTS said Wednesday they will not submit music for consideration in the 2027 Grammy Awards.
"We have decided not to submit an entry for Grammy consideration this year. We hope music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided into region or language," the group's members said in a statement shared across each of their social media profiles.
The 7-member band returned from a years-long hiatus in March with a highly anticipated fifth album called "Arirang."
