Selma Blair is one of the cover stars of British Vogue's May 2023 issue.
The actress was photographed by Adama Jalloh for one of several covers in a nude-toned caped dress with midriff cutouts. She's also seen holding her black cane.
"Reframing Fashion: Dynamic, Daring & Disabled," the cover reads.
The "Cruel Intentions" star opened up to the publication inside the May issue about living with multiple sclerosis and more.
Speaking about being photographed with her cane, Blair, who was diagnosed with MS in August 2018, told British Vogue, "I have an emotional and physical attachment to the cane."
She continued, "I settle in my voice and body as soon as I hold [it]. It's an extension of me. And I know it adds to visibility. So many younger people have started publicly embracing their sticks more. I do think representation matters. If I can help remove stigma or over-curiosity in a crowd for someone else, then that's great."

In addition to Blair, British Vogue's "Reframing Fashion" issue also features cover stars Sinéad Burke, Aaron Rose Philip, Ellie Goldstein and Justina Miles. There are also 19 other figures with disabilities from across fashion, sports, the arts and activism featured throughout the issue.
"[Producing this issue] was a necessary and overdue education for all -- and taught us many lessons we will carry forward into the future," Vogue European editorial director and British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful said in a statement. "Ultimately, these covers and portfolio ask a question: we all engage with fashion, but does fashion engage with all of us?"
He continued, "Dynamism of spirit, of talent, of imagination, is what the stars of this issue have in spades. It is this quality that the industry -- and here I include Vogue -- must also lean into if it is to better serve the Disabled community, alongside the Disabled community, with jobs, in the design of retail spaces, of photography studios, of digital interfaces, events, communications and, of course, clothes."
