Isabel Marant is bringing back one of her most popular fashion designs: The wedge sneaker.
Beyoncé, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Gisele Bündchen and many more helped make the Bekett shoe famous.
This time around, the company has redesigned and renamed its latest release "Balskee," drawing inspiration from the original along with a slightly updated sculptural look.
"I’ve never stopped wanting to wear them," Marant said in a statement about the original wedge sneaker that was popular in the early 2010s.
She continued, "The most comfortable things are the things you will always wear and that you are never fed up with."
The 2021 Balskee sneaker, retailing for $770, has been designed to stand on 10-centimeter heels, which are concealed within a chunky sole to keep the sneaker comfortable.
It also is available starting this month in five rich colors ranging from classic black to bold red.
