In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, we're showcasing looks for teachers inspired by one of our favorite shows: "Abbott Elementary."
"Good Morning America" lifestyle contributor Lori Bergamotto shopped for looks teachers can wear for the rest of the school year, from a pretty shirtdress paired with Mary Jane ballet flats to a cardigan paired with dark wash denim and block-heeled sandals with pillowy soles for comfort. There's also a stylish, lightweight linen jumpsuit at Nordstrom and a versatile blazer in 21 colors on Amazon.
"These looks have really resonated because they're attainable with just the right amount of elevation," Bergamotto said. "['Abbott Elementary' costume designer, Hachy Mendez-Smith] told me the wardrobe vision for 'Abbott Elementary' is grounded in authenticity; these clothes reflect real budgets and real-life teaching days, but they also encompass teachers' individuality and personal flair."

"Quinta [Brunson's] character [Janine Teagues] is full of optimism, and Hachy says her wardrobe channels that energy through cheerful colors and playful prints," Bergamotto said. "She embodies urban-contemporary style with a youthful, spirited edge."
"This striped shirtdress is classic Janine -- cheerful, practical and slightly offbeat. The pleats add movement, and the colorful vertical stripes reflect her playful, energetic vibe. It's classroom-ready but still has a youthful flair that makes it unmistakably hers."
"Hachy tells us that Ava is the resident fashion diva of Abbott," Bergamotto said, referring to Janelle James' character, school principal Ava Coleman. "She's bold, confident and dramatic. Her looks lean into modern designer-inspired pieces like curve-hugging dresses, standout prints, sleek jumpsuits and statement jewelry. But she still works in the school, so she has to balance that runway with reality. This Zara Belted Wide Leg Jumpsuit is effortless cool that she can still work in and work it in!"
"Hachy shared that Barbara's wardrobe is classic, elegant and deeply traditional -- just like her," Bergamotto said, referencing Sheryl Lee Ralph's character Barbara Howard. "She wears rich jewel tones, polished layers and her pearl accessories. In this look, she's wearing the Ann Taylor Geo Stitched Sweater Jacket in a soft orchid cardigan layered over a silk printed blouse, blending a style of grace and tradition."
"We couldn't forget about Abbott's resident tough-talking, big-hearted teacher Melissa Schemmenti," Bergamotto said, referring to actress Lisa Ann Walter's character. "She often wears leather jackets, strong blazers and statement colors."
To get the look, Bergamotto opted for this Amazon blazer, which is under $60. "Those gold buttons give the blazer a power vibe according to Hachy, and this look delivers the message loud and clear," she said.
