"The bodysuit has become one of my biggest style staples for all my clients," Chataigne said. "It's such a great styling piece."
Chataigne suggested substituting your t-shirt for a bodysuit as a layer with everything from jeans, wide-leg trousers, shorts and skirts. You can also wear your black swimsuit both to the beach and with a blazer come fall weather.
"I have so many [bodysuits] and they work well with every body type. Shapewear has even improved to support women with curves with a bodysuit," Chataigne adds.
"Recently, I’ve found myself drawn to a crisp oversized button-down," Chataigne said. "I’ve styled them with swimsuits and denim shorts all summer."
Chataigne said she plans to continue wearing her button-down over slip dresses, under blazers, and with leather shorts and tights as she transitions into fall. "The way to make it yours is how you style it," she said.
"Cowboy boots have been reigning supreme all 2022 -- and [they'll] be even bigger for fall, Chataigne said. "So if you've been dying to get your hands on a pair -- whether they are a classic brown, embroidered with flowers or shocking white -- you'll be on trend."
There are a number of ways to style them. Chataigne suggested wearing with long jeans and a cropped sweater or a sweater with a cinched belt. "Make it yours and make the boots the conservation pieces of your fall outfit," she said.
"You may want to pack that sexy slip dress away, but it give it some more play during the chillier months," Chataigne said. She recommended styling it with a t-shirt and blazer, plus boots and tights. "The options are truly endless! Keep it elevated, chic and relevant," she said.
"This is the closet workhorse that keeps on giving," Chataigne said. "In the summer you'll toss on your shoulder over your dress on those chilly nights. In the fall, style it with everything from jeans, dresses, suits and leather trousers and shorts."
"The baggy straight-legged jean is here to stay," Chataigne said. "Now I can see petite readers rolling their eyes, but this denim is a fun, relaxed look that doesn't have to be so extreme. Smaller frames can try a straighter leg. When working with a voluminous trouser, pair with a contrasting shorter top or tie in front to lengthen the body."
