Holiday shopping for 2021 came and went, but a lot of January 2022's best sales have just begun.
However, before you use up your gift cards or bonuses, there are also some products experts recommend holding off on purchasing.
According to Offers.com, products such as mattresses and major appliances will be slightly discounted during Martin Luther King Jr. Day's weekend (Jan. 14 - Jan.17) but you have a better chance at getting the best deals during Presidents Day, 4th of July and Memorial Day weekends.
Experts also recommend holding off on jewelry buys until after Valentine's Day, and to purchase new gaming consoles and video games later in the year.
Alternatively, January is the perfect time to take advantage of deep discounts on items such as 4K TVs, beauty gift sets, and "white sales" on bedding, towels and more linen.
