What's the only thing cuter than a dog? A dog in a bag, that's what.
Andrew, who asked that only his first name be used, said he began taking pictures of dogs in bags on the New York City subway for a simple reason.
"It's cute as hell," Andrew said. "Who doesn't love a dog in a bag?"

Andrew had about twenty dog in a bag pictures compiled on his phone when decided to start the Instagram @bagdogs. He started by posting the pictures he had taken himself, but then quickly started getting content from other admirers of portable pups.
New York City law states "no person may bring any animal on or into any conveyance or facility unless enclosed in a container and carried in a manner which would not annoy other passengers." Therefore, many New Yorkers put their dogs in bags as a loophole to get their furry friends from A to B.
The results are adorable. Andrew receives tons of dogs in bag pictures each day, and he loves when owners get creative.
"Some of my favorite pictures are of dogs that are too big to carry," Andrew said. "Their owners will take an Ikea bag and cut holes in the legs so their dog can walk but technically still be inside a bag."
Andrew hasn't stopped at dogs either. He has seen a number of interesting animals in containers on the subway, including birds and snakes.
Thank you @bagdogs, for giving us the joy of seeing a pug in the purse on the train all from the palm of our hand. If we're ever in need of some cheering up, we know you have it in the bag --literally.
