Wendy's offers free Girl Scouts-inspired Thin Mints Frosty and fries

Wendy's is giving away free treats this week in honor of National Girl Scout Day on March 12 and St. Patrick's Day on March 17.

Customers can enjoy a free small Thin Mints Frosty, inspired by the classic Girl Scout Cookie, with any purchase, according to People.

For St. Patrick's Day, Wendy's is also offering a free order of french fries with a minimum $5 purchase.

To claim the deals, customers must download the Wendy's app or visit order.wendys.com and create an account.

Wendy's first launched its new Thin Mints Frosty in partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA last month. The announcement aligned with National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend (Feb. 21-23), when Girl Scout Cookies became widely available across the country.

The limited-time treat blends Wendy's classic Frosty with a rich, minty cookie crumble sauce inspired by Girl Scout Thin Mints and is available in both Chocolate and Vanilla Frosty flavors, according to Wendy's.

Additionally, more than 4,200 Wendy's locations will host Girl Scout cookie booths this year, allowing customers to purchase their favorite cookies directly from participating restaurants.
