Actress, lifestyle businesswoman and bestselling cookbook author Gwyneth Paltrow has for years hailed clean eating along the path to wellness.
Paltrow brought "Good Morning America" into her kitchen to show how she makes a couple of staple recipes that fit her healthy habits.
"People think -- food that's on the healthier side is, like, boring or it's not delicious," Paltrow said. "And it's my mission to help people understand that that's not true -- really healthy food can be absolutely delicious."

"I eat salads every day for lunch," Paltrow said, adding that this recipe plays into a phrase dietitians love. "Nutritionists tell you you should try to eat the rainbow, right? So this salad, it's kinda like a rainbow salad."
Ingredients
Avocado, cubed
Beets (red and yellow) steamed, peeled and cubed
Cherry tomatoes
Little gem lettuce, chopped
Purple cabbage, shredded
Pepperoncinis (yellow), sliced
Radishes, thinly sliced
Persian cucumbers, cubed
Customize by adding any veggies from your refrigerator!
Dressing
1 clove freshly crushed garlic
2 Tbsp white wine vinegar
1 Tsp dijon mustard
Smidge anchovy paste
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Assembly
Arrange veggies in a vessel of your choice.
For dressing, whisk together ingredients, adding olive oil as you whisk.
Pour over veggies, adding sea salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste.
Ingredients
1/2 Tsp fresh ginger juice
1/2 Tsp turmeric juice (or Powdered)
1/2 fresh lemon, juiced
Local honey (to taste), about a tbsp
Small crack black pepper (Activates the turmeric to maximize benefits).
Directions
Build in mug, beginning with fresh ginger juice.
Add hot water three quarters to the top of the mug.
Add additional ingredients and voila!
"If you have a sweet tooth and you're tryin' to be a little bit healthier, and you don't wanna eat processed sugar," Paltrow said, "this really does the trick."
Ingredients
1/4 cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoonHemp seeds
10 medjool dates, pitted and soaked for 15 minutes
1 teaspoon Almond butter
1 1/2 cups Dried unsweetened coconut
Directions
Grint coconut into a fine meal in the food processor.
Add in the rest of the ingredients, process until sticky dough is formed.
Scoop the batter by heaping tablespoons onto a baking sheet lined with parchment.
Roll each ball between your hands, then coat them in chia or hemp seeds, cocoa powder or cocoa nibs.
Store the balls in the fridge or freezer.
