A dad who graduated with his MBA was surprised with a front yard celebration after commencement was postponed due to COVID-19.
Sean Cosgrove of New Orleans, Louisiana, earned his degree from the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, on April 30.
Since commencement has been postponed until further notice, Kassie Cosgrove invited neighbors to congratulate her husband on his achievement.
She decorated with balloons and gathered celebratory cigars. Sean didn't suspect a thing as he returned home from a day of golf.
"He's used to me surprising him. I'm a big believer in that fun stuff," Kassie told "Good Morning America," adding that Pomp and Circumstance played on a speaker. "When he saw Nolan he was real excited about it."
Sean and Kassie are parents to Nolan, 3, and Callan, who'll turn 1 on May 23.
