One mom's back-to-school photo looks like none she's ever taken before but it's familiar to parents around the country.
No cute signs or first-day hairstyles. No fancy new backpacks or striking a pose.
Julie Burton's kids -- Emma Burton (freshman) and Kate Burton (6th grade) -- were still in bed when their mom snapped the "back-to-school" picture.

And, she said, lots of people are copying the photo with their own kids, which Burton said she "loves."

The girls' first day went as well as can be expected, albeit from home, Burton told "GMA." However, because they are both in new schools, it's "a little challenging and will take some getting used to. My kids miss the social aspect and loved seeing some form of community."
