Coronavirus quarantine could not stop this mom from celebrating her son’s first birthday -- in style!
Kylie Najjar, 30, from Perth, Australia, came up with a creative way to mark the milestone after the family had to cancel the birthday bash they had originally planned for her son, Jai.
“I originally planned a joint birthday for my kids as their birthdays are only 10 days apart. We had organized a giant ball pit, climbing equipment, and we already had a jumping castle and huge trampoline to entertain all the kids. We were pretty upset when we couldn’t go ahead with [the party],” said Najjar, whose family has been self-quarantining for almost six weeks.

Najjar decided to make a poster with streamers and black and yellow balloon decorations.
“Quarantine 1st birthday party: none of you are invited!” the poster read.
Najjar said she gathered all the supplies locally from small businesses.
Najjar shared the photos on Instagram on April 3 and she's been flooded with positive comments from fellow parents.
“I’ve been so touched and so overwhelmed with all the extra support ... I’ve had heaps of parents thanking me for the idea as well because now they have a special way to celebrate their children's birthday while staying home. I'm glad it's helped so many people,” she said.
Most importantly, it was a memorable first birthday for Jai.
