Wedding, family and newborn photo shoots have become the norm for celebrating life's precious moments.
But what about a photo shoot celebrating the person that's been by your side at every twist and turn?
Cue the BFF photo shoot, a trend, photographers say, that's gaining popularity among women in particular.

Poteet, the owner of Anna Stacy Photography, said friends who want to have a BFF shoot should just have fun with it. It's also popular on Pinterest; a search for "BFF photo shoot" results in hundreds of ideas.
Breanna Welch of Easy Breezy Photography, who recently went viral for one of her BFF photo shoots, agrees.
"Look at it as a bonding moment," she said. "It's a chance to get away from the day-to-day."
Her advice for friends: Find the thing that bonds you together. For one of her friend shoots, Taco Bell did the trick. For another, it was Target. For still another, wings and beer.
"It’s all about capturing the natural connection between friends and not so much about poses," Poteet said. "Also, a little champagne is fun."
