Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively witnessed Wrexham history on Saturday.
The celebrity couple, along with "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actor Rob McElhenney, watched as Wrexham A.F.C., the English soccer team owned by McElhenney and Reynolds, beat Charlton F.C. 3 to 0 -- a pivotal match that elevated Wrexham to the Sky Bet Championship league.
The win puts the club one step away from joining the prestigious English Premiere League.

After the celebration, McElhenney and Reynolds posed for a photo with the trophy.
Lively reacted to the emotional win on social media.
"History was made Congratulations to @wrexham_afc. I will never forget the the love and elation in that town today. Thank you for sharing it with us always," she wrote on Instagram.
She continued: "The love and respect that pours out of you each and together exponentially grows and creates more joy, more possibilities, more magic, more history."
