'House Party' is back! And it's being guided by 'Old Town Road' director

Calmatic is having quite the year and it's only getting better.

After directing the video for the record-breaking hit, "Old Town Road," the man is back and this time he's at the forefront of a major motion picture.

The film in question is a remake of the '90s comedy "House Party," which starred icons Kid ‘N Play.

The original starred Martin Lawrence, along with the famed '90s rap duo, and was followed by several sequels.

According to Deadline, film will have the same essence of the original 1990 film, updated for the modern audience of course.

And while Calmatic is tapped to direct, there is also incredible talent and power supporting him like "Atlanta's" Stephen Glover and Jamal Olori writing the script and LeBron James producing.

One can only hope those famed dance moves are back along with the film!
