Shortly after the 2019 Grammys came to a close, host Alicia Keys surprised fans with a new song and it's about as empowering and uniting as you'd expect from the 15-time Grammy winner.
Keys talked a lot about love and celebration during her time on stage Sunday night and her song, "Raise a Man" shares those same sentiments.
Keys talks about being able to show weakness around her partner and being able to "love a man right now."

"It's hard to explain, it's hard to believe," she continues. "Your love teaches me how to love so deep."
While Keys has always been outspoken about female empowerment, this song focuses on being able to be vulnerable and not independent in the arms of a good man, one with her best intentions at heart.

But she also took the time out to give a shout out to her husband Swizz Beatz, who also took a bow to his wife during the show.
It was an impressive way to show you can have the best of both worlds, a man who stands behind and lifts you up, while helping out your "sisters," as she called them, around the globe become equals to men.
Last night's show was certainly one for the ladies as the likes of Lady Gaga, Kacey Musgraves, Dua Lupa and more all took home big awards.
