WATCH: 2022 Golden Globes announces winners without fanfare or broadcast
The nominations for the 2023 Golden Globes are here.
Actresses Mayan Lopez and Selenis Leyva announced the nominees for the 80th annual awards show, which honors the year's best in film and TV.
MORE: Golden Globes 2022 winners: Complete list
Martin McDonagh's "The Banshees of Inisherin" received the most nominations on the film side, with eight nods. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert's "Everything Everywhere All at Once" followed closely behind with six nominations and "Babylon" and "The Fabelmans" both garnered five nominations each.
On the TV side, "Abbott Elementary" took the top spot, with five nominations. Shows that trailed closely behind with four nominations each included "The Crown," "Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story," "Only Murders in the Building," "Pam & Tommy" and "The White Lotus."
Comedian Jerrod Carmichael will host the 2023 ceremony, which will be held Jan. 10 at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
The Golden Globes are returning to TV after being sidelined this year due to racism allegations within the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a group of international journalists who choose nominees and decide winners.
The 2022 ceremony was held as a private event in January following a 2021 Los Angeles Times report that found the HFPA had no Black members. Amid the controversy, the HFPA promised "transformational change" and vowed to boost minority membership and representation as well as to have more transparency.
In September, the HFPA added 103 non-member voters to its ranks, which now totals 200. The organization said its voting body, which currently represents 62 countries around the world, is 52% female and 51.5% racially and ethnically diverse.
