Gigi Hadid penned a passionate open letter to the paparazzi asking them to blur the face of her daughter, Khai, in photographs.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the 26-year-old supermodel said she wants to protect her 10-month-old daughter's privacy.

Hadid, who shares Khai with her partner, former One Direction member Zayn Malik, spoke about a recent instance in New York City where her daughter lifted up the sun shade and looked around during a walk in the stroller.
"I also want her to see the most amazing city in the world [and] the beautiful and diverse people that walk down the streets of NYC... that is, without the stress of the media circus that comes with parents who are public figures," Hadid wrote.
"To the Paparazzi, press and beloved fan accounts, you know we have never intentionally shared our daughter's face on social media. Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age, and that she can live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen," Hadid pleaded in her post.

I just want the best for my baby, as all parents do... and I hope this can continue the conversation to protect minors in the media, even if they come from a public family."
Hadid -- who welcomed Khai alongside Malik, 28, last September -- has shared numerous photos of her daughter, but never with her face showing.
