Ed Sheeran revealed Sunday that he tested positive COVID-19, just days before his new album is set for release.

"It means that I'm now unable to plough ahead with any in person commitments for now, so I'll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house," he added. "Apologies to anyone I've let down. Be safe everyone x."

It's unclear if Sheeran's COVID-19 diagnosis will have any effect on his scheduled "Saturday Night Live" performance for the Nov. 6 episode.
