Fans of '90s sitcom "Boy Meets World" will be pleased to hear that Cory and Topanga's close bond extends even off the screen.

Danielle Fishel, 38, who played Topanga Lawrence during the show's seven-season run, recently shared a snap of the moment her former co-star and on-screen husband Ben Savage, 38, aka Cory Matthews, came to meet her newborn son Adler.

"The original Boy came to meet our boy," she captioned the shot of Savage smiling while holding the baby, who she placed a sticker over for privacy purposes.

She opened up on the harrowing birthing complications she experienced in a lengthy Instagram post.

"We still don't have Adler home with us because the deeply good doctors and nurses in the NICU are working diligently to find out why the fluid is there and determine the best way to get it out," she wrote.

"We feel helpless and powerless and useless and we wanted so badly to follow our 'birth plan,' unsurprisingly none of which involved leaving our beautiful baby boy at the hospital for the first weeks of his life," the actress added on her and husband Jensen Karp's state of mind at the time.

"We have also struggled with making this announcement - we are THRILLED Adler is here and we want to shout it from the rooftops but we know posting about his birth and it's complications opens us up to prying eyes - aka paparazzi staked outside our house, following our every move they way they did several times during my pregnancy," she continued.

Three weeks later, Fisher shared a photo with Karp and their newborn leaving Children's Hospital Los Angeles, expressing her gratitude for the hospital staff's support in the caption of the post.

"We never wanted to know this hospital and its staff so well but now that we do, we can say with certainty there is no better place for children with medical needs," she wrote.
