The beloved blue "Sesame Street" character sang "Take me out to the ballgame" during the seventh inning stretch a Wrigley Field on Thursday.

He started by announcing that "C is for Cubbies" -- the team's nickname -- and delivered a delightful rendition to cheers from adoring fans.

"Let's get some cookies!" he said in the announcers booth to cap off the performance.
Cookie Monster spent the whole day at Wrigley Field, took a peak inside the clubhouse, hung out with the team's mascot and even received his own personalized Cubs jersey.

To make his sports outing even sweeter, the Cubs beat the Atlanta Braves 9-7 and Cookie Monster was able to help fly the "W" flag that had a personal cookie twist.
