Celine Dion says late husband is 'watching over' twins on their 10th birthday

WATCH: Celine Dion shares advice for those grieving after her husband's death

Céline Dion wished her twin sons, Nelson and Eddy, a happy birthday in an Instagram post Friday and added a heartfelt mention of their late father.

Dion's late husband and manager, René Angélil, died in 2016 following a long battle with throat cancer.

He is survived by Dion and their three sons, 19-year-old René-Charles and the twins.

"Nelson and Eddy, you have been bringing so much joy, love and laughter into our lives every single day for the past 10 years," Dion wrote in her post. "You make me, your big brother and your Dad, who is for sure watching over you, so very proud. Happy birthday my beautiful boys! We love you so very much... - Mom, RC and Dad xx..."

Dion, 52, became the president of her management and production companies in the aftermath of her husband's death. She's also been very open about discussing loss; her latest album, "Courage," features songs largely inspired by how she's moved forward. Dating, however, is not a top priority, she said last year.

"I don't date, I don't have a boyfriend, and you know, it doesn't mean that I will not find someone in my life," she said on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen". "If I do, that would be great. If I don't, that will be great because I'm still in love [with Angélil]."
