Cameron Boyce's mother shares emotional video reflecting on the tremendous support for her son

Tributes flooded in for late "Descendants" star Cameron Boyce on Thursday, on what would have been his 21st birthday.

The actor's mother, Libby Boyce, shared a video thanking friends and former co-stars of Cameron's for their support and meaningful tributes to her son.

"Everybody, I'm just reading all the notes on the Cameron Boyce Foundation page of all the comments and with the donations and I'm just really blown away," she shared."Really blown away by all the amazing comments and how many people loved Cameron."

"I just really wanted to say thank you and it's so appreciated, and we really will be doing amazing things, so his death is not in vain," she added, overcome with emotion. "Thank you."

Since Cameron's Boyce's tragic death in July 2019 from a seizure caused by his epilepsy, The Boyce Foundation has raised awareness to the seizure disorder and a cause that was important to the young star -- ending gun violence.

The organization revealed in a post that it raised $45,000 in four days for those causes in its campaign honoring Boyce's birthday.

"Over this past week, we have been blown away by the outpouring of support and love to honor Cam’s legacy," the organization said in a statement.
