"GMA" Book Club is celebrating Black History Month by spotlighting several books chosen by three young powerhouse authors.
Authors Tomi Adeyemi, Jason Reynolds and Kiley Reid shared their favorite reads with "GMA."
Adeyemi is the author behind the wildly popular "Children of Blood and Bone," and its recent sequel "Children of Virtue and Vengeance"; Reynolds didn't read as a child because he said he couldn't find books he related to and went on to become a literary phenomenon and the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature; and Kiley Reid's debut novel, "Such a Fun Age," is taking the world by storm.
In the meantime, Goodreads, a site for readers and book recommendations, shared their list of the top-10 books by black authors -- based on their editors' picks and the community ratings -- to get you started reading.
