Bindi Irwin is counting down the days until she meets her baby daughter.
Speaking with "Entertainment Tonight" recently, the "Crikey! It's the Irwins" star said her father, the late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, would have been "over the moon" had he been able to meet his first granddaughter.
"He would've been a good, good grandpa," said Irwin, 22. "I don't think we would've ever seen our daughter. He would've just whisked her away into the zoo and it would've been perfect."

"It is so nice that we'll be able to introduce her to her grandfather through all of the documentaries," she reflected. "It's really special."
Added her brother, Robert Irwin, "I think it's really special that as a family we get to remember him, honor him in absolutely everything that we do... And make sure that that legacy never, ever dies no matter what."
"Now with a new little wildlife warrior taking on the charge, [Steve] would just be insanely excited," he noted.
Terri Irwin, who is looking forward to becoming a grandmother, spoke more about her late husband by joking, "I will say one thing for sure is you would never have to wonder what he would've worn during any of the milestones."

Bindi Irwin and husband Chandler Powell say their first child is due any day.
But, Irwin says there is one family tradition she will not be continuing -- there will be no cameras in the delivery room.
Her mother, who filmed both Robert and Bindi's births, shrugged, "You know, you haven't really lived until you've given birth with a film crew!"
