Members of "The Office" family recently gathered to celebrate B.J. Novak, who turned 40 on Wednesday.
Novak, who played Ryan Howard during the hit show's eight-year run, shared photos of the bash on his Instagram, along with a caption expressing his gratitude for those around him.
"What a wonderful birthday to celebrate with so many people who make my life what it is – thank you to literally everyone in it for your ❤️ in @‘s and IRLs. Grateful," he wrote.

More of Novak's former "Office" castmates, including Jenna Fischer, Oscar Nunez and Angela Kinsey, were also photographed at the celebration.

Fisher also shared some snaps from the night out, captioning her post, "Out to celebrate the milestone birthday of @picturesoftext and hang with some old friends. BJ, you sure do know how to throw a party!"

Novak also posted about Mindy Kaling's birthday last month. The pair are so close that he is Kaling's daughter Katherine's godfather.
