Benson Boone, one of the brightest young stars in pop music, has announced a new tour.
The American Heart Tour will kick off Aug. 22 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and is currently slated to wrap up Oct. 8 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The musician shared news of the tour Monday on social media, along with an image of him wearing a bedazzled jump suit and holding a microphone.

The 29-date tour will start with a path through the Midwest before jumping across the northern border for shows in Toronto and Montreal. Boone will also perform stateside for an East Coast swing, followed by a Southern leg, before finishing in the West (including a show in British Columbia).
Boone is slated to release his second studio album "American Heart" on June 20, prior to the start of the supporting tour.
Boone has already released two singles off of the upcoming album, titled "Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else" and "Mystical Magical."
During the tour, Benson will be partnering with Google Maps to share his favorite local spots in each city, as well as to help fans find the best way to get to the shows.
