It's time to meet the Disney Destiny.
"Good Morning America" got a sneak peek of Disney Cruise Line's brand-new cruise ship in a segment that aired Tuesday morning, showcasing the ship's heroes and villains theme.
"[The heroes and villains] like to have fun as well," Josh D'Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences, told "GMA." "We thought this would be a really unique way to pair some of our intellectual property across the ships and bring our consumers and our fans into the experience in a way they haven't done before. So they're going to love this."
On Monday night, the ship was officially christened in a spectacular event just 10 days ahead of the Destiny's maiden voyage on Nov. 20, 2025, when the ship will sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The sneak peek of the new ship showed how the amenities and design pay tribute to some of Disney's most iconic characters, including villains like Loki, god of mischief, Cruella De Vil, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, and more, as well as heroes like Black Panther, Spider-Man and more.
Among the highlights is De Vil's, a "stylish lounge that takes a cue from the over-the-top fashionista fiend from the Disney classic '101 Dalmatians,'" according to Disney Cruise Line, and the Haunted Mansion Parlor, an eerie hangout "serving specially crafted cocktails that are simply… to die for."
As for entertainment, cruise ship passengers will be treated to the multiheaded Hydra as hero Hercules faces off with the serpentine monster in the new stage show "Disney Hercules."
"This is a multiheaded Hydra, which is actually five Hydras in particular that comes to life, and we get ready to see Hercules go from zero to hero, quite literally, in the city of Thebes," cruise director Carly Scott explained.
While on the high seas, passengers can also take in the world-famous story of Simba from "The Lion King" and dine on African cuisine at Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a "first-of-its-kind musical dining experience," according to Disney.
"You will experience the best stories you have ever lived inside of. You will have a chance to visit parts of the world that you may have never visited before," D'Amaro said, adding, "It is a one-of-a-kind experience."
Other stage shows aboard the Destiny include "Frozen, A Musical Spectacular" and "Disney Seas the Adventure."
In the Oceaneer Club, children train to be superheroes under the tutelage of one of the most famous of them all, Spider-Man.
Along with a host of other amenities, the ship will include an exclusive confectionary, Edna À La Mode Sweets, inspired by "The Incredibles," specifically the iconic superhero designer Edna Mode.
The Destiny's maiden voyage will kick off an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
Trips will include visits to one or both of Disney Cruise Line's island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
