Tweed hair is officially a thing...would you wear it?

WATCH: News headlines today: Dec. 23, 2020

Fashion and beauty are colliding thanks to the latest trend: Tweed hair color.

The two-toned look has a similar feel to a balayage treatment, only with more of a focused high-low mix of hues.

Chicago-based hair colorist at Maxine Salon, Rex Jimieson, posted a side-by-side photo of the trend that includes brunette and blonde tweed stitching on Instagram, and it has continued to catch the attention of many.

Jimieson advises in his post that the color should fill up your hair. The base and highlights should be within three levels of each other, and you should also incorporate your natural undertones so it's easy to wear.
