YouTube vlogger Nikkie de Jager, better known as NikkieTutorials, came out as transgender in a heartfelt video earlier this month. Now, she's back with her first video since sharing her truth.
She posted a video titled "Responding To My Coming Out" on Tuesday where she discusses what her experience has been since revealing that she is a transgender woman.
"It has been a crazy whirlwind this last couple of weeks," she says at the beginning of the video. "Trust me, it's been nuts."

"I didn't know what to post after that," Nikkie says. "But, there's one thing that has always helped me, even through my darkest times, and that is makeup." She also refers to her latest video as "makeup therapy."
Nikkie said that she was scared to leave her home for two days after posting her initial "I'm Coming Out" video." However, she felt better knowing that feedback has mainly been positive.
The 25-year-old makeup enthusiast also highlighted how she made an appearance on "The Ellen Show" where she given the opportunity to share her story.
During her response video, Nikkie also urges fans to stop attempting to find out who her alleged blackmailer is.
"To be honest, I don't think that is your story to tell," she says. "If anyone's going to have the right to tell more about these blackmailers, it's gonna be me. How I deal with the situation and what information I would like to share, at the end of the day, is my story."
She also explained how she was able to work with the police to find out who was blackmailing her. Without releasing the person's name, she says, "When I found out exactly who was behind this all, I was shocked. This is not a person that any of you know. It is someone that I don't even personally know."
While Nikkie does know who blackmailed her, she has also chosen to take the high road and not publicly out them.
"With this platform that we have right here, I have the power to destroy a life. I have the ability to not only destroy the life of my blackmailer, but also the life of his family, his kids, his friends," she said. "Ever since finding out the true name of my blackmailer, that has been going on in my mind. If I out this person, am I gonna be doing the same as this person did to me?"
Toward the end of the video, Nikkie has a full face of makeup that includes bright blue and red eye shadow worn as separate colors on each eyelid along with a nude-toned lip look, and fully filled-in eyebrows as well as voluminous eyelashes.
"I don't think anything in my life is ever going to top this, but I just want to say thank you," Nikkie says to her supporters toward the conclusion of the video.
