Better Homes and Gardens reveals 2020 beauty award winners

WATCH: 'Better Homes & Garden's' showcases the best 50 beauty products of the year

Better Homes & Gardens has officially revealed its Life in Color Beauty Awards 2020 winners.

This year's second annual feature includes must-have makeup, skincare, body and hair products, which have been tested by the publication's editors and trusted beauty experts.

Product winners are included in Better Homes & Gardens' October issue, which is available now and can be viewed online.

"Now more than ever, American women are leaning into self-care and DIY beauty rituals," said Stephen Orr, the magazine's editor-in-chief, in a statement. "Our goal for this year's awards was to narrow down the top beauty brands that elevate the everyday at-home routine and curate a shortlist of standout products to empower our diverse audience with inclusive and accessible options that help them feel good, highlight their best features, and keep their budgets in check."

During the process of selecting product winners, hundreds of products from brands that launched products between September 2019 and September 2020 were submitted, reviewed and evaluated based on affordability, inclusiveness and sustainability.

The list was narrowed down to 50 award-winning products that help your beauty routine and make you feel your best self.

Better Homes & Gardens beauty and fashion director Erica Metzger highlighted her top five products from this year's list to "GMA" with selects ranging from an affordable eyebrow enhancer to skin-boosting cream that gives you an instant glow.
