Helen Mirren goes makeup-free to encourage charity donations

While social distancing as advised by officials to slow the spread of COVID-19, many celebrities have chosen to go makeup-free -- including Dame Helen Mirren.

On Tuesday, the 74-year-old actress posted a barefaced photo of herself wearing a pair of glasses on Instagram.

In her caption, she encouraged her fans to donate to intensive care support followed by a link where they can do so.

The link Mirren posted leads to a donation page posted by the The Intensive Care Society which represents Critical Care and strives to ensure patients and staff have the best care possible.

All donations will go toward supporting intensive care workers, helping their mental health, distribution of wellbeing packages and more.
