Style experts are weighing in on the fashion at the 98th Academy Awards, which were held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Celebrity stylist Joe Zee, fashion correspondent and celebrity stylist Tiffany Reid, and TV host and author Jay Manuel joined "Good Morning America" on Monday morning to share their thoughts on who was best dressed at this year's awards.
Jessie Buckley in Chanel
Zee highlighted best actress winner Jessie Buckley's pink and red Chanel dress as a top choice from Sunday's festivities.
"That dress -- when she stepped out in that pink and red custom Chanel... I have to say, I tracked her entire style trajectory from the beginning of 'Hamnet' to now. She's favored more like darks and blacks and neutrals … but to come [in] that color was amazing for her, but also really amazing for the designer," Zee said, referring to the luxury fashion house's newest artistic director, Matthieu Blazy, who took up the reins back in April 2025.
Teyana Taylor in Chanel
Reid highlighted "One Battle After Another" star Teyana Taylor's Oscar look, a custom black and white Chanel gown also designed by Blazy.
Taylor paired the gown with diamond jewelry by Tiffany & Co.
"Her trajectory from the beginning of her award show run to now, it just keeps evolving, evolving and surprising us," Reid said, noting that Taylor's dress was embroidered with her children's names.
She continued, "The sheer bodice, the mermaid style, and the way the feathers even laid on the dress, the way it was placed, it just looks impeccable. The train is amazing. And also the Tiffany's necklace … she was wearing 18 carats on her neck."
Demi Moore in Gucci
TV host and author Manuel spotlighted the look of a red carpet regular, actress Demi Moore.
"When Demi walked out, I think everybody said, 'Yes. This is Oscar glamour. This is the drama that we wanted,'" he said. "That Gucci gown ... for the Oscars, this the drama that I wanted."
Shaboozey rocks formal menswear
Singer Shaboozey turned heads on Sunday with his formal look, which Manuel said was "so clean and modern, while, at the same time, referencing classic and historic menswear."
"I just want to call out the attention to the architecture around the collar, the jewelry there and on the lapel. This is how you show up at the Oscars," he added.
Hudson Williams in Balenciaga
Reid highlighted the look worn by "Heated Rivalry" star Hudson Williams.
"I love that it was monochromatic, all black, super clean. But the one thing I do want to call out, that was thing that won me over, was the jewelry," Reid said of Williams' Balenciaga ensemble, which he paired with Bulgari jewelry, including a sparkling brooch and small hoop earrings.
Jacob Elordi in Bottega Veneta
Zee gave props to "Frankenstein" star Jacob Elordi, who donned a Bottega Veneta suit for the evening.
"He made something traditional look really modern.... It's a longer jacket, which to me was a big trend also for menswear last night, so to see sort of a longer jacket on someone who's [6 feet, 5 inches tall], wow," Zee said.
