Huynh pointed to three of InStyle's favorite workout tops for the new year: a seamless tank from Amazon, a Fabletics cropped long-sleeve, and an Under Armour long-sleeve.
Huynh emphasized that when it comes to workout pants, comfort is key.
InStyle testers loved the Amazon Lavento leggings for a budget-friendly style without compromise. Other favorites include the Vuori AllTheFeels leggings, which you can wear to the gym or with a trench coat and sweater, or the men's Vuori Sunday Performance Sweatpants, which have a tailored jogger silhouette that makes them a stylish loungewear choice.
This Beyond Yoga stretch pullover is an ideal layering piece, with UV protection for outdoor fitness. Huynh noted that it is flowy but soft and quiet, and its boxy fit looks effortless and polished. Wear for your workout or style it with denim.
If you're looking for a new pair of sneakers this season, try the Nike Revolution 8. Huynh called these a "do-everything" sneaker that you can wear for workouts, errands and beyond. They are available in regular and extra-wide sizes, plus an assortment of colors to best suit your wardrobe.
Lastly, don't forget about your socks! These Souls Grip Socks are ideal for studio workouts like yoga, barre or Pilates. They have silicone grippers dotted on the soles and come in cute prints and styles, like this ruffle pair with a bow at the back.
