On our radar: Picks for 2026

2026 is here, and so are all the hottest trends of the year!

"GMA" lifestyle expert Lori Bergamotto scoured Pinterest's top trend predictions for the next 12 months, and she found a plethora of fascinating finds.

There's "poetcore," an aesthetic inspired by literature and the people who read and write it. Pantone's Color of the Year is popping off, with the serene shade Cloud Dancer showing up in home and closet finds alike. "Gimme gummy" is another list-topper, a look that sees accessories taking on the look of gummy bears and other jelly candies for a fun, youthful look.

Gummy everything

One of Pinterest's biggest trend predictions for this year is "gummy everything" -- a trend that sees playful, Y2K-inspired textures pop up via phone cases, jewelry and even makeup. Try a touch of the trend to add a playful, youthful edge to your look.

'Poetcore'

"Poetcore" is entering the trend cycle with a romanticized take on heritage dressing, a look that combines rich tweed blazers, literary silhouettes (a la turtlenecks and ruffled button-ups) and soft, whimsical touches such as the pointelle scarf below.

The effect is sophisticated and classic, perfect for cold-weather dressing that utilizes classics you might already have with fresh, new touches to dress it up for 2026.

Pantone Color of the Year: Cloud Dancer

Pantone's Color of the Year, Cloud Dancer, is a simple one, but there are ways to implement it throughout your home and wardrobe to add a calm, serene feeling while celebrating this subtle white shade.

Brooches

One of the biggest trends in jewelry and fashion for 2026 is the brooch. New ones, old ones, thrifted ones, whatever you like: Start subtle with a simple, sculptural brooch for your blazer, or go bold with a full stack of bejeweled pins. The options are endless and provide endless fun to personalize your look! Start your brooch journey with these options from Amazon, all around $10.

Lace

Lace detailing is one of the more romantic trends arriving for 2026, and these Anna Sui x Old Navy tops are inspired by some of the designer's edgier pieces from the 1990s collections that made her famous. Ruffles, tie-fronts and blouson sleeves are particularly good for embodying the "poetcore" trend seen above.
