TREND 1: Crochet everything

Crochet is the defining texture of festival fashion this year. It feels nostalgic, a little vintage, but also very breathable, which is key if you plan to be in the desert for an upcoming show.

Beyond concert wear, its great to have that same breathability during the hot summer months. The key to wearing crochet is layering. For example, in the look below the poncho from Urban Outfitters can be layered over a maxi skirt and basic tank you may already have at home.

TREND 2: Metallics

This trend is where we see festival fashion is evolving, metallics are bringing in a more futuristic, high-shine energy. If going full metallic is not the right fit for your style, think about playing with accessories like metallic boots, a crossbody bag like this one from Kate Spade or jewelry to add a little shine to your look without going all in.

TREND 3: Boho meets Western

Boho style is the true DNA of festival fashion, but we are seeing an evolution of this trend now incorporating more Western influences. This two-piece lounge set from Aerie is a fun way to incorporate "fringe" into an everyday look.

American Eagle is the exclusive apparel and denim sponsor of Stagecoach this year, so pairing it with some of their fringe accessories is a fun addition to feel effortlessly on trend with a nod to festival-inspired style.
