Hancock shares two hair products: The Pattern Breakage Barrier Mask and The Doux Multi-Use Mousse. The Pattern product, founded by Tracee Ellis Ross, is designed to strengthen your hair, reduce breakage and restore moisture. The Doux, a stylist-founded brand, offers its mousse to define curls, smooth frizz and add hold. Hancock notes that mouse allows you to use less products on your hair.
Hancock highlights Fashion Fair, founded in 1973 by Eunice Johnson of Ebony Fashion Fair, and Topicals, a skin care brand, for their lip products.
The Fashion Fair Iconic Lipstick provides rich, saturated color in shades intentionally designed to flatter melanin-rich complexions, Hancock explains.
The Topicals Slick Salve is a nourishing balm that hydrates, repairs and seals in moisture.
Danessa Myricks's brand has a collection of complexion products that are inclusive and user-friendly, Hancock explains, like the Yummy Skin Life & Flex Hydrating Concealer, which she says never looks cakey.
LYS Beauty, founded by Tisha Thompson, offers beloved products like this skin tint stick in over 20 shades.
Hancock explains that Black Girl Sunscreen was created due to the lack of sun protection options for melanated skin. Its formulas leave no white cast and this SPF 30 lotion has moisturizing ingredients like avocado and jojoba oils.
Keys Soulcare, by Alicia Keys, offers skin care and makeup like this Golden Face Cleanser to remove makeup, oils and buildup. Use it every day.
Brunel, co-founded by Jasmine Tookes, offers a trinity of indulgent body oils, like the Golden Hour Glow Body Oil below. Apply it for a radiant, sun-kissed glow.
Fenty Beauty by Rihanna offers products designed to work for all skin tones and textures, Hancock notes, and this whipped body cream gives you that moisture and glow you crave. Hancock calls it "luxury-level hydration at an affordable price."
