BÉIS, the travel and lifestyle brand founded by Shay Mitchell, has teamed up with Gap on a limited-edition collection launching Friday.
"The collaboration blends Gap's iconic essentials with BÉIS's signature function-forward travel designs," a press release states.
The result? A collection of BÉIS luggage in a Gap denim-inspired blue plus Gap apparel in BÉIS-inspired colorways.
There's the Carry-On Roller in Denim Blue, for example, with a hard shell exterior, a cushioned trolley handle and an expandable zipper for added space, among other features. There are also barrel jeans, a hooded denim jacket, a matching poplin boxer short and shirt, an oversized blanket coat, and a convertible bandeau jumpsuit.
"I've been wearing Gap since I was a kid, so designing a collection that allows you to express your personal style while on the go feels like a full circle moment," Mitchell said in the press release. "This line is for anyone who wants to look good, feel good, and travel in style."
The collection launched with a campaign video starring Mitchell, her partner Matte Babel, and their children Atlas and Rome, "marking the family's first-ever branded shoot together," according to the press release.
In the video, Mitchell tries on pieces from the collection in search of the perfect travel outfit.
Ahead of the launch, Mitchell took to Instagram to express her thoughts on the collaboration.
"This one is hard to put into words (in the best way possible)," she wrote in the caption of a post that included several behind-the-scenes campaign photos. "Nine year old me walking through Park Royal mall would have NEVER imagined this. A collection with GAP that blends my love of movement, creating and for the brand we built from the ground up. I am so overwhelmed with deep gratitude and so thankful to every person who helped bring to life one more thing from my vision board."
