🔵 President Donald Trump on Thursday said Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin will replace Kristi Noem as Department of Homeland Security secretary.

🔵 President Donald Trump called on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, military and police to "lay down their arms" against the U.S. and Israel and "take back your country" from the regime, offering immunity but warning they would face "absolutely guaranteed death" if they refused. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Brig. Gen. Mohammad Akraminia said Iran has prepared for a "long-term war," according to state media. Meanwhile, Emirates Flight 203, the first direct commercial flight from the United Arab Emirates to the U.S. since the conflict began, landed safely in New York on Thursday, as the State Department said it is aware of 20,000 Americans who have returned from the Middle East since Saturday and that its task force has assisted 10,000 of them.

🔵 The House on Thursday failed to adopt a war powers resolution that attempted to curtail President Donald Trump's military actions in Iran.

🔵 The Dow Jones Industrial Average on Thursday closed down 785 points as the war with Iran escalated and oil prices continued to climb.

🔵 Britney Spears was arrested in California on Wednesday night on suspicion of DUI by the California Highway Patrol and was released early Thursday morning, according to Ventura County Sheriff's Office records and law enforcement sources.
