Psychiatric nurse practitioner Rebecca Jollotta, who treated Lindsay Clancy, testified on Tuesday during her murder trial in Plymouth, Mass., about messages sent from Clancy to Jollotta prior to Clancy killing her children in January 2023.
Clancy wrote in one message on her patient portal weeks before the killings, “I also just feel concerningly numb right now, like I have no emotion whatsoever. I feel like I'm going to die, and I don't care. What do I do about this?” according to testimony.
Clancy, 35, has pleaded not guilty to three murder charges in connection with the deaths of her 5-year-old daughter Cora, 3-year-old son Dawson, and infant son Callan at her family's home in the Boston suburb of Duxbury on Jan. 24, 2023.
