Weeks later, Byrd took to Facebook to ask for help in finding the mystery woman behind the extraordinary fly-by, dubbing her "Scooter Girl."

A viral sensation was born.

"When your wedding is in downtown Omaha during the College World Series, you never really know what might happen," Byrd wrote.

"She took off before we could get her name/contact info," she added.

Turns out, Byrd was a fan and "Scooter Girl" was a hit with the wedding party.

"We love seeing people living their best life like this! Go have fun today and make someone smile like Scooter Girl is making you smile right now!" Byrd continued in the post, finishing it off with "#FindScooterGirl."

And find her, Facebook did. Within an hour of posting Byrd's impassioned plea, Omaha locals were able to connect Byrd with "Scooter Girl," and formally introduce herself as Kenyatta Jefferson.

"It's crazy, overwhelming," Jefferson told GMA. "It's not real still! It's just so unreal."

Watch as "Scooter Girl" zipped from viral sensation to being all we could dream of Friday morning in Times Square.
