One couple's "sweet" wedding proposal turned into a funny, viral fail.
When Kevin Arrieta got down on one knee before Natali Melani on the beautiful island of Santorini, Greece, he captured a video recording of the special moment -- as well as some unintentional footage.
The couple shared the video in an Instagram reel Tuesday.
In the video, just as the proposal is getting underway, a man and woman walk into the frame and stop.
As the proposal is happening behind them, the man and woman appear to be completely unaware, with the man even pulling out a candy bar to eat.
"Our dream Santorini proposal accidentally turned into a candy bar ad," Melani wrote in the video's caption.
Intense game of family charades leads to hilarious proposalMelani and Arrieta said in an interview that aired Wednesday on "Good Morning America" that they're taking the proposal video in stride, and even want to connect with the man and woman.
"We're hoping all the spies in the comments can help us find this couple," Melani said. "We'd love to invite them to our wedding, and we hopefully think that they also think this is funny like we did."
The video has picked up more than 2.6 million likes on Instagram so far. One viewer put a positive spin on the whole experience.
