Make these cinnamon apple crisp muffins

WATCH: Make the perfect muffin for Mother's Day

YouTube star Rosanna Pansino is showing us how to make the perfect fall treat -- her cinnamon apple crisp muffins!

Pansino created this recipe because her mom had an apple tree in her backyard growing up in Washington state and was always making apple pies and apple crisps.

What apples do you need?

Granny Smith and Pink Lady apples are perfect for this, according to Pansino.

Avoid a Golden Delicious apple -- you don’t get that powerful tartness. If it’s all you have, add a bit more sweetness.

Add the oil, egg and milk and stir until well combined.

Fold in the apples.
