The seafood restaurant chain announced it will start selling a gluten-free version of its popular biscuit mix at Walmart stores nationwide.
While the gluten-free form isn't available yet in the restaurant, this is a great option for home cooks with celiac disease to try their hand at the simple recipe in their own kitchen.
The drop biscuit style with cheese, garlic, herbs and a buttery crust has previously been available on grocery store shelves in the traditional recipe.
Copycat recipes for the famed biscuits have been around for years, but the advent of the boxed mix was a game-changer that made it easier to whip up a fresh batch anytime.

The new recipe is the first time Red Lobster has made the Cheddar Bay Biscuits accessible for gluten-intolerant eaters.
Twitter users were excited by the announcement, but others followed up with "looking forward to the day you have them in-restaurant."
The company has not released any further plans or information on whether the gluten-free item would be available in the foreseeable future at any restaurant locations.
"As of now, Gluten-Free Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix is only available at retail, but Red Lobster guests who come in-restaurant can choose from an array of gluten-sensitive menu items, which can also be ordered to go and paired with gluten-free biscuits at home," the restaurant said in a statement to ABC News.
Gluten-free fans can still enjoy other offerings at Red Lobster, like the huge seafood selection.
It's currently Crab Fest, which includes an array of gluten-free options such as the seasonal menu's ultimate crabfest trio with Bairdi, Dungeness and King Crab.
The restaurant has even implemented an interactive menu tool for customers to check off any other food allergies to see what menu items will fit their dietary needs.
