Looking to cut costs on groceries? One woman's method and three easy to implement tips could help.
Like many Americans scaling back at the store in order to see a smaller number at check out, Kelly Lure was in search of new ways to save.
Lure connected with the co-founder of Krazy Coupon Lady, Joanie Demer, to test out some easy money saving methods.
"My husband and I have four daughters so our grocery bill per month is over $1,500," Lure told "Good Morning America."
"You're doing better than most. But there's still a lot of savings that we can find you," Demer said. "With three tips, we actually think that you can lower your expense by $350 a month, or $4,200 a year."

Do away with grocery delivery
The convenience does cost with delivery fees, tips, and markups on some products, so by eliminating them, Demer explains that can save the Lure family -- and others -- $221 per month.
Buy some items in bulk
If you buy the same things over and over again, Demer suggests try buying in bulk.
Stock up on 8 weeks worth of shelf-stable staples when they're on sale to avoid running out while waiting for the next price drop.
This tip saved the Lure's $75 per month.
Use the grocery store app
The Krazy Coupon Lady said customers can unlock even more savings by using the grocery store's app.
Additionally, Demer suggested reaching out to specific brands on social media to ask for discounts directly.
The combined method saved the Lures another $55 per month.
In total, these tips can add up to thousands in savings per year.
