Patrick Mahomes is a proud husband and father of three.
Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes have three children together, Sterling Skye Mahomes, Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III and Golden Raye Mahomes.
Throughout the 2025 NFL season, Brittany Mahomes brought all three kids to home games at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Mahomes announced the birth of their youngest child, Golden, at the start of 2025.
Just a few weeks later, Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, competed in the 2025 Super Bowl on Feb. 9, 2025.
In an interview on the ESPN docuseries "The Kingdom," Patrick Mahomes described how he and Brittany Mahomes managed to welcome Golden amid a busy playoff season that ended with the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
"Brittany crushed it. I was watching playoff games the entire day. She went to labor after one game," Patrick Mahomes said, describing how Golden was born during a bye week for the Chiefs. "Baby was here before the next game, so I didn't even miss a playoff game. So, [Brittany] is as locked in as I am as far as football goes."
Patrick Mahomes said during a Jan. 14, 2025, press conference that it's "a lot of fun" to be a dad of three.
“It’s been cool to welcome another baby girl to the family and see how my other kids reacted to her, and have a baby sister and stuff like that," he said. "So it’s been a lot of fun.”
On his first Father's Day as a dad-of-three in June, Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany took to Instagram to honor him, writing, "Happy Father’s Day to our rock! The most incredible, loyal most fun dad everrrrrr! The way you love us is unmatched! You never let a day go by without letting these kids know how special they are! We love you 🤍"
Speaking to "Good Morning America" in 2023, the NFL player discussed what it means to be a dad.
"It gives you a different perspective," he said at the time. "You enjoy every day so much more and having them, the years fly by and just try to do whatever I can to enjoy the little moments."

Brittany Mahomes was born on Aug. 31, 1995, in Whitehouse, Texas.
After graduating from high school, Brittany Mahomes enrolled at the University of Texas at Tyler, where she played soccer.
She later signed with the Icelandic professional soccer team Afturelding/Fram after graduating from college in 2017 -- the same year the Kansas City Chiefs selected Patrick Mahomes during the first round of the NFL draft.
The pair, who have been a couple since high school, became engaged in 2020 before welcoming their first child in 2021.
They tied the knot the next year, in March 2022, at a private ceremony held on Maui in Hawaii.
Brittany Mahomes built her own company, Brittany Lynne Fitness, and, in 2021, she co-founded the Kansas City Current with her husband as an expansion team in the National Women's Soccer League.
Brittany Mahomes also added the title 2024 SI Swimsuit Rookie to her resume, posing for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's 60th anniversary issue in a red one-piece swimsuit.
For her 30th birthday on Aug. 31, 2025, Brittany Mahomes shared photos on Instagram of an epic birthday celebration in Nashville with friends, including Taylor Swift.
Born on Feb. 20, 2021, in Kansas City, Missouri, Sterling is the Mahomes' first child.
The football player announced the arrival of his little girl via an Instagram post featuring a sweet picture of his daughter's tiny hand wrapped around his finger. Brittany Mahomes was also in the photo, wearing a necklace with their baby girl's name.
"Sterling Skye Mahomes," he wrote in the caption, "2/20/21 ❤️."
Brittany Mahomes has shared many of Sterling's first occasions on Instagram, including her first Halloween, first Christmas, first Father's Day, and more.
Sterling also served as the flower girl at the couple's wedding. She's also a loyal fan of her dad, often sporting his number while attending his games.
On Feb. 20, 2025, the Mahomes family celebrated Sterling's fourth birthday with a pink tropical cake, according to photos shared by Brittany Mahomes on Instagram.
"Sterling Skye is 4! This sweetest, most kind little girl ever! I thank god everyday for choosing me to be your mom, you have taught me so much about life and what matters most and I truly am so thankful you made me a mama! You are the best big sister to Golden & Bronze and they are so lucky to have you guiding them🥹 your Mom and Dad love you beyond and more🤍 keep being you baby girl!!!," the mom-of-three captioned the photos.
The second child of the couple, Bronze, was born on Nov. 29, 2022. They announced the birth of their son via an Instagram post, sharing a photo of the infant's legs in a brown and white onesie and captioning it with the boy's name.
"Patrick 'Bronze' Lavon Mahomes III 🤴🏽11/28/22 7lbs 8oz 🤍," they wrote at the time.
The family celebrated Bronze's third birthday in November 2025 with a Spiderman-themed party, describing Bronze in an Instagram caption as, "the smartest yet very wild and hilarious kid you will ever meet!"
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes' third child, a daughter, was born on Jan. 12, 2025.
The couple named her Golden Raye Mahomes, according to an Instagram post that also included a black and white photo of two hands holding their daughter's tiny feet.
Golden was born during her dad's eighth season with the Chiefs.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes first announced they were expecting in a July 2024 Instagram post.
"Round three, here we come," the couple captioned a video of themselves along with their two older children.
In addition to being the parents of three kids, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are also the parents of two dogs, Steel and Silver.
Brittany Mahomes told People in 2024 that for her and her husband, their two dogs are "basically our children."
The dogs have their own Instagram account, @steel_silver_mahomes, with over 200,000 followers.
Patrick Mahomes gifted Steel to Brittany Mahomes, his then-girlfriend, when she was in college, she told People.
"Patrick bought him for me for a Valentine's Day gift when I was a junior," Brittany Mahomes said, adding that the dog's name was inspired by an NFL team. "So, I actually used to be a [Pittsburgh] Steelers fan and that's how I got the name Steel, so that's a great story."
Later on, during Patrick Mahomes' rookie year in the NFL, they adopted Silver, according to Brittany Mahomes.
The mom-of-three shared in 2023 that Silver was originally going to be named Sterling.
"I got Steel in college and named him that. We then got our second dog and was gonna name her Sterling because it went with Steel perfect," Brittany Mahomes said in an Instagram Story, according to People. "Then I said no, I want that to be my daughter's name, so then we came up with Silver to go with Steel."
She explained of giving their son his name in 2022, "Then having a boy and him being Patrick Mahomes III, Bronze was just meant to be and went perfect."
